Important Ordering Information

Notice of Limited Liability and General Disclaimer

The AACC Bookstore provides information on course materials used for courses at Anne Arundel Community College, as submitted by the faculty, believed to be correct at the time of publication. However, books and prices may be changed at any time as new information is received from the faculty and our suppliers. The AACC Bookstore will correct errors and allow refunds on books purchased from the AACC Bookstore within published policy limits.

The AACC Bookstore is not responsible for any damages that may be caused by errors in information posted on our site, delays in processing orders, or errors and delays by any third party in the processing or delivery of orders. We are not responsible for damages or correcting errors on books or merchandise not purchased from the AACC Bookstore.

We reserve the right:

  • To limit all course materials transactions to those students enrolled in the course(s) for which the course materials are intended; proof of enrollment may be required.
  • To limit quantities of course materials purchased or quantities of course materials returned through refund and buyback transactions
  • To request additional forms of identification beyond what is already required for financial transactions

Textbook Substitution

PLEASE NOTE: The ability to choose New or Used is a preference ONLY. It does not reflect the stock of books in the store. We reserve the right to substitute new textbooks for used textbooks and used textbooks for new textbooks if the titles you requested are not available in that condition. If a new book is substituted for a used book you will be charged the full new price of the textbook. If a used book is substituted for a new book you will be charged the used book price. By completing and submitting an order, you agree to these terms. We regret that we are unable to notify you in advance of any changes to an order.

Courses with No Textbooks / What to do if no term is listed

Credit Students:
If you try locating your textbooks and there is no term listed, please check back shortly as there may be an update of the course list in progress. If your course is not listed, there may still be a required textbook. Please keep checking back. Only courses which show "no text required" when selected do not require textbooks.

Non-credit Students:
Courses which require course materials are identified in the non-credit schedule of classes. Classes for which no materials are required will not display on the website at this time.

Attention Software/Hardware Customers

Since our software and hardware is academically priced, we are only allowed to sell you one copy of each item or title. We may also be required to ask you to validate your academic status by submitting a current course schedule or academic ID.
